Data storage

Your progress is saved in your browser, in local storage. It does not leave your device unless you ask it to.

This storage on your device falls under the same European rules as a cookie. It is exempt from consent because it is strictly necessary.

We count the number of series started each day, all visitors combined. Just a number per date, with no time, no key, nothing about you or your device. It tells us whether the tool is used, not by whom.

If and only if you ask for a key to continue on another device, your progress is copied to Green Engine's server under that key. It contains the list of questions answered and your results, nothing else: no name, no address, no information about you or your device. It travels encrypted between your browser and the server for our mutual security, but is not encrypted once on the server.

Even so

A key is still an identifier: it links together the answers of one person. It is not associated with any other information. But if you share it with someone, that person will be able to link this key to you and will be able to see your progress and even delete it. Which brings us to:

Erase everything

The Erase everything button, in the settings, empties your browser's storage, then deletes the key and its data on the server. Only the reports you have sent are kept, anonymously.

How this tool was made

This site was developed with the help of several artificial intelligence models. The questions, the answers and the explanations of the answers were written with the help of artificial intelligence and validated, edited or rewritten by human intelligence.

Still, nobody is perfect yet, so a question whose answer is not yet satisfactory says so clearly. If an answer or explanation looks wrong to you, the Report button is there for that. The question, its options and the explanations will be downgraded and collective intelligence will get to the bottom of it.
